ResistAid® is a patented larch arabinogalactan that is used in Thorne products. It is produced by steam-heating larch wood chips to extract the phenolic and arabinogalactan compounds and then drying the resulting extract. This patented extraction method is unique because it requires no harsh chemicals to release the compounds from the wood matrix, and it means the product remains pure and is structurally unaltered post-extraction.
